Personnel from CITC participated in a 5-day Blockchain Training from April 7 to 11, 2025 held at the Sangguniang Panlungsod Conference Room. The training was sponsored by the City Mayor’s Office in collaboration with the Human Resource Management Office.

Negros Occidental visited the Davao City Hall

The students and faculty members of Central Philippine Adventist College in Alegria, Murcia, Negros Occidental, visited the Davao City Hall for an educational trip dated March 20, 2025, to gain firsthand experience of an IT environment. CITC as the IT office presented the city’s developed systems and guided the students to the Network Facilities Management Division where infrastructure server room.

The Office of the Vice President conducted a visit to the City Government of Davao last March 13, 2025, to engage in a comprehensive study tour and benchmarking session at City Archives and Records Office (CARO), City Information Technology Center (CITC) and City Administrators Office (CADO), to acquire important knowledge and insights into the city’s City Archives Management System, Human Resource Management Information System and Project DocTract.

Students from Sulu State College (SSC) – College of Computer Studies and Engineering visited Davao City Hall and the City Information Technology Center (CITC) on February 11, 2025, as part of the school’s IT immersion program, which exposes students to real-world Information Technology (IT) environments. CITC created Power point presentations demonstrating ICT best practices used by the City Government of Davao to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of client service delivery, as well as an open forum session in which students can ask questions about specific CITC areas or divisions.

About the City Information Technology Center
The City Information Technology Center (CITC), under the Office of the City Administrator, is the frontline office in the adoption and application of information and communications technology (ICT), and ensures its utilization in strategic area of government concern thus supporting all departments and offices in their respective ICT thrusts and programs. CITC was created through a program which was institutionalized in the 1996 Agency’s Re-organization. The office was established to support the development effort and manage the implementation and maintenance of all the systems developed, including the repair and maintenance of all computers and network facilities of the City Government of Davao.
