The Davao City Economic Enterprise (CEE) reported an 8.40 percent year-over-year increase in revenue for July 2026, reaching a total of P 127,069,200.89. This is a significant uptick from the figures posted in July 2025 at P 117,219,469.27.
The CEE oversees the city’s public market operations, cemetery operations, slaughterhouses, special projects such as but not limited to the night market operations, the rent and road network for the Philippine Ports Authority (PPA), PPA-Sta. Ana Wharf, clearance and certification fees, Magsaysay Park Leasing Operations, and the Davao City Recreation Center.
The leading contributor for this is the increase in the income of the CEE’s market operations which reached over P87 million, followed by slaughterhouse operations that reached over P18 million.
Among its top performing units is Bankerohan Public Market which generated an income of P 35,739,948.60, followed by Agdao Public Market at P 24,116,853.31 as of July 2026.
The CEE continues to strengthen its market operations initiatives to further support the city’s sustainable economic growth by providing jobs, sustaining businesses, enhancing community livelihoods, and stakeholder engagements.
