To raise barangay-level adherence to Republic Act No. 11032, or the Ease of Doing Business (EODB) Act, the City Government of Davao recently held a training for barangay officials in the city.
The training, which featured resource speakers from the Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA), involved presentation on the key provisions of the EODB Law, focusing on formulating Re-engineering plan and Client Satisfaction Measurement Report. The discussion also covered process improvements, workflow reforms, and duties of the assigned personnel, with ARTA answering questions on the Initial Re-engineering Plan and Client Satisfaction Measurement Report.
During the session, CART Vice-Chairperson, Atty. Sarah Phoebe L. Paclibar highlighted continuous improvement, accountability, and client-centered service as essential pillars of competent governance.
The training contributes to efforts in promoting good governance by equipping barangays with tools for process improvement and client satisfaction assessment.
