The City Government of Davao has reconstituted the City Statistics Committee (CSC) through Executive Order No. 5, giving it the responsibility to provide statistical guidance at the city level.
The committee brings together offices from the economic, social, and environmental sectors, led by the City Mayor as chairperson and the City Planning and Development Coordinator as co-chair.
It shall also lead in improving the city’s statistical system, ensuring it is responsive to development planning and monitoring.
Additionally, the CSC has the autonomy to carry out its duties and obligations and to decide how to handle statistical problems at the city level; it will serve as the recommendatory body on the city’s statistical policies and programs.
