Dabawenyos can now keep a closer eye on their daily commute as the City Government of Davao made the DC Bus Live Tracker accessible to the public on August 17, 2026.

Powered by the Davao Interim Bus Service (DIBS), the web-based tracker allows passengers to see the real-time location of operating DC Bus units and check route information before and during their trip.

Instead of waiting and wondering when the next bus will arrive, Dabawenyos can simply open the tracker using a mobile phone and check where their bus is on the map. Here, no app is required to download.

The platform features “Buzzy”, the DC bus mascot, which serves as a friendly face for the digital tracking system as the city makes public transportation more accessible to passengers.

The system is designed to make trip planning easier, particularly for passengers who want to know whether a bus is already approaching their area heading to a stop.

They can browse the site through stops, routes, and tracking buses, wherein the live map shows the movement and status of buses currently in service. The tracker covers the DIBS fleet, allowing passengers to identify individual units and follow their routes.

The system is made on purpose of less guesswork and that more information is in their view, making the daily question of where the bus could be going at the moment easier to answer.
