In celebration of identity, diversity, and inclusion during the Duaw Davao 2026, the City Tourism Operations Office (CTOO) on Tuesday released the guidelines and mechanics for the Duaw Davao Pride Parade.

Scheduled on June 21, the parade invites all registered and unregistered LGBTQIA+ groups, communities, associations, and allies to participate.

“Mas i-encourage nato more ang atoang mga nagkalain-laing groups to join and mas i-elevate nato ang ilahang experience (We want to further encourage our diverse groups to join, and we also aim to elevate their experience even more this year),” Willenito Tormis Jr., Officer-in-Charge of the CTOO, said in an interview.

Interested participants must secure and submit the official parade entry form through the online registration link (https://tinyurl.com/PrideParade2026) on or before June 5, 2026. Registration is free.

The CTOO also bared that this year’s parade is a walking parade only. Contingents must have 30 to 150 participants. Wearing colorful and flamboyant attire, or any themed or official parade uniforms, is highly encouraged.

Contingents that best embody high energy, creativity, message clarity, and visual impact will receive cash prizes ofP50,000 for the first place, P20,000 for the second, and P15,000 for the third.

Individual participants with the most creative “alive, alert, aware, enthusiastic” attire may also win cash prizes of P20,000 for the first place, P15,000 for the second, and P10,000 for the third.

To join the individual competition, interested participants must register from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. on the day of the parade at the designated booth on Roxas Avenue Satellite Stage. Early sign-up is encouraged, and registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.
