In a bid to efficiently and effectively inventory the roads under the city’s jurisdiction, the City Government of Davao reconstituted, through Executive Order No. 25, Series of 2026, the Local Road Inventory Committee.

The committee was first created on July 21, 2024 by virtue of Executive Order No. 23, Series of 2024.

Its primary task is to conduct an inventory of the roads under the jurisdiction of Davao City, and prepare a Report on the Physical Count of the Local Road Network System of the City.

The committee is composed of members from the City Accountant’s Office, City Assessor’s Office, City Engineer’s Office, City General Services Office, City Planning and Development Office, and Task Force on the Inventory of Real Properties of the City Government of Davao, while the City Mayor will sit as its chairperson, and the City Administrator as its Co-Chairperson.

Each concerned member of the committee also have specific duties and responsibilities such as but not limited to preparing the Journal Voucher to record the beginning balance of the Local Road Network and its components in the general ledger and the Local Road Network Ledger Card by the City Accountant’s Office; assessment of local roads and provide valuation report on the local road network by the City Assessor’s Office; maintenance of the Local Road Inventory by the General Services Office; enhance the Local Road Network (Road ID) of Davao City by the City Engineer’s Office among others.
