The Davao City Tourism Operation Office (CTOO) is inviting coffee and chocolate lovers as the Duaw Davao Kape ug Tsokolate Crawl returns this June, now expanded to welcome more local and homegrown shops.

The month-long crawl, running from June 1 to 30, 2026 has become a staple of Duaw Davao festivities, inviting tourists to explore the city through homegrown cafés and chocolate shops that embodies the city’s flavor throughout the decades.

Participants will collect stickers from participating coffee and chocolate shops and once they collect all stickers, they will receive a prize from the city.

To join, interested participants must submit their application form and requirements on or before May 19, 2026 via Google form: https://tinyurl.com/KapeUgTsokolateCrawl.

The coffee and chocolate businesses or stores must be locally owned and provide at least five coffee/chocolate drinks that will qualify crawlers for a sticker.

At least 50 establishments will be selected to participate via a raffling system by the executive committee, provided they meet all the guidelines.

Willenito P. Tormis Jr., CTOO Officer-in-Charge, told the City Information Office (CIO) that this year’s Kape ug Tsokolate crawl has been expanded to include additional cafés and chocolate stores, providing Dabawenyos and tourists with more opportunities to explore Davao’s homegrown flavors.

“Atoang gi intensify pa or gi maximize pa nato ang atoang Duaw Davao Kape and Tsokolate Crawl nga mas inclusive na siya. Kay before, gagmay lang na mga shops ang naka join. Karon, gi open nato siya into bigger nga mas daghan pa ang pwede maka join. Para mas daghan pod mga Dabawenyos ang makabisita sa ilahang mga establishments (We have extended our Duaw Davao Kape and Tsokolate Crawl to make it more inclusive. Because before, only a few small shops participated. Now, we have opened it up to a bigger scale so that more people can join. So that more Dabawenyos can visit their establishments),” he said.
