Provincial school-based, community-based, organization-based, and Davao City school-based groups from the city and neighboring cities and provinces are invited to join the Indak-Indak sa Kadayawan 2026.

Indak-Indak is one of the highlights of the annual Kadayawan Festival in the city where rich culture and heritage are retold through street dance performances.

The City Tourism Operations Office (CTOO) bared, in a social media post, the guidelines and mechanics of the competition.

Interested groups may register through this link: https://forms.gle/2bKaiPzA2N8AyRcn6 on or before July 15, 2026.

Participating contingents should be composed of no more than 170 members and no less than 90 members.

Indak-Indak sa Kadayawan has two categories: Open Category for contingents from outside Davao City, and the Davao City School-Based Category.

To join, interested groups must submit their performance synopsis with no more than 50 words and are subject to editing, and a contingent list containing the names of its members, gender, age, and roles.

Provincial contingents must wear their respective school ID upon entry in the city. They must also bring with them any valid ID.

Meanwhile, Davao City school-based contingents must include the list of currently enrolled students endorsed by the principal. Graduates from the previous school year are eligible to join. Merging of schools is also permitted.
