Davao City will ignite more of the Kadayawan Spirit this August as the KadayaOne All Over the City: The Best Kadayawan Experience celebration officially released its guidelines and mechanics, a citywide initiative that encourages establishments and barangays into an immersive and memorable Kadayawan-themed experiences for both Dabawenyos and visitors.
The competition is open to all Davao City tourism-related establishments and barangays with each participant eligible to submit one official entry.
Inspired by the official festival theme, “We Are One, KadayaONE,” each participating establishment or barangay shall conceptualize and implement a unique Kadayawan Experience that creatively showcase the city’s rich cultural heritage, diverse communities, traditions, local products, tourism attractions, and vibrant festival spirit.
Interested participants may join for free and must submit their entries online via Google form (https://forms.gle/hBV4Zcc7DroHyCXq5) on or before July 31, 2026.
Participants are required to submit a maximum of three-minute Kadayawan Experience video showcasing their concept by August 11, 2026, at 12 noon. From these submissions, 10 finalists will be selected to advance to the final round.
They are also required to feature the official Kadayawan Festival 2026 logo, creative assets, and theme song ‘Kada Kadayawan’ in their presentation and promotional materials, which may be requested by emailing ctoo@davaocity.gov.ph.
The official festival branding must be used only in their original form. Unauthorized alteration or misuse will be subject to disqualification or sanctions by the Organizing Committee.
The Kadayawan experience must remain accessible to residents, tourists, and visitors throughout the festival month, while complying with safety regulations, public health protocols, and city ordinances.
