The City Tourism Operations Office (CTOO), in a Facebook post on Sunday, has invited dance groups to join the Sayaw Dabawenyo competition for Araw ng Dabaw 2026.
The competition is open to all groups consisting of no less than 10 and no more than 20 members, and all modern dance genres, including but not limited to: Hip-hop, Urban/Street, Jazz, Contemporary, Tap, and Ballet.
To join, interested participants must fill out an entry form and must submit a performance video via Google Form (https://tinyurl.com/SayawDabawenyo2026) on or before February 21, 2026.
Each group have a minimum of 2 minutes and maximum of 3 minutes to perform during the elimination round, and a minimum of 3 minutes and maximum of 5 minutes for the final round.
Only 20 entries from the online submissions will advance to the Elimination Round, and only the Top 10 finalists will proceed to the grand finals.
