The City Transport and Traffic Management Office (CTTMO) will implement a traffic plan on January 15, 2026 to ensure order and safety, in anticipation of the 58th Fiesta and Enthronement Anniversary of the Shrine of the Holy Infant Jesus of Prague.

Dionisio Abude, CTTMO head, told the City Information Office (CIO) that the traffic plan will follow the same pattern used in previous years, noting that the arrangement is necessary given the expected influx of devotees.

“The same ang atong traffic scheme sauna, one entrance, one exit kay lisod kaayo og magsugat (Our traffic scheme remains, one entrance, one exit to prevent traffic congestion),” he said.

A one-way vehicular traffic will be observed from Pluto Street to the ABS-CBN Compound, while there will be a regulated no entry at Cor. C.P. Garcia Highway–Shrine Hills Road.

Meanwhile, parking area will be at the designated parking and private property vacant lots, and from 3 p.m. onwards, there will also be a regulated no entry along Pluto Street to the church.

Ret. PMaj. Leonardo Pamplona, Acting Division Head of the Traffic Enforcement and Street Management Division of the CTTMO, also assured Dabawenyos that there will be traffic personnels deployed to guide motorists to proper parking spaces.

“Naa man ta’y mga naka deploy nga mga personahe didto, mao na lang mugiya kung asa pwede mag park, basta iwasan lang gyud mag park atubangan between sa gate 1 og gate 2 sa maong simbahan (We have personnel deployed there, so they will guide you on where to park, just avoid parking in front, between gates 1 and 2 of that church),” he said on Madayaw Davao over Davao City Disaster Radio on January 14, 2026.

In a Facebook post by the Shrine of the Holy Infant Jesus of Prague, the fiesta celebration will begin at dawn with a procession at 5 a.m. A pontifical mass will be presided over by Archbishop Romulo G. Valles, D.D. at 9 a.m., followed by a series of masses from 6 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.

The CTTMO urged Dabawenyos to cooperate with traffic enforcers, and observe parking regulations to ensure a smooth and orderly celebration. CIO
